La Licorne Hotel & Spa Troyes MGallery
📍 Address: 20 BIS Quai Dampierre | ⭐ Rating: 8.8/10 | 💰 Price From: €173.03 per night.
A beautifully renovated historic building right next to the city centre. We were looking for a stay over during our trip to Southern Europe. Troyes is a beautiful town and easy to access from the highway. The hotel offers secure parking, which is also a great plus. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was good size, clean, comfortable, and pleasant. I also very much enjoyed the bar. The city centre is a five minute’s walk from the hotel and certainly a not to miss.

La Licorne Hotel and Spa is a luxury boutique hotel that seamlessly blends modern amenities with classic elegance. It’s one of the finest hotels in Troyes, boasting an ideal location that puts you in close proximity to the city’s attractions.
The rooms are tastefully furnished with everything you might need for a comfortable stay, including a wardrobe, a safety deposit box, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with a shower. For added luxury, some rooms even feature air conditioning.
You can start your day with a hearty buffet or American breakfast served right in your room. The hotel also offers room service around the clock, ensuring your needs are attended to at all times.
Despite not having an on-site restaurant for dinner, there are several excellent dining options nearby. After dinner, you can unwind at the hotel bar, which boasts a cosy atmosphere. While their signature cocktails could use a bit of tweaking, they do an excellent job with the classics.
For those seeking relaxation and rejuvenation during their stay in Troyes, the hotel offers 5-star accommodation complete with an indoor pool, sauna, and hammam. Though the spa is somewhat small, the reservation system effectively manages the crowd, ensuring you get quality time to pamper yourself.
La Licorne Hotel and Spa is committed to sustainable practices, including waste and water recycling and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
One of the major perks of this hotel is the secure parking it offers, adding to the convenience of guests travelling by car.
In terms of areas for improvement, the breakfast could possibly offer more variety. But overall, La Licorne Hotel and Spa provides an exceptional stay with its good-sized rooms, modern facilities, and excellent location. A stay here offers a unique blend of comfort and luxury in the heart of Troyes.

Hôtel la Maison de Rhodes & Spa
📍 Address: 18 Rue Linard Gonthier | ⭐ Rating: 8.4/10 | 💰 Price From: €271 per night
Beautiful setting, the hotel is old and quaint, but modern room and bathrooms etc, lovely setting being able to dine outside, great location next to town centre.
– Review by Carol from UK (Read more reviews)
Hotel La Maison de Rhodes and Spa is a luxury boutique hotel that exudes an authentic charm. Nestled in the heart of Troyes’s historic town centre, it’s one of the best locations you could ask for!
The guest rooms are beautifully designed, featuring the typical style of the Champagne region. They come equipped with everything you might need, plus some added luxuries like free WiFi access.
One of the highlights of this hotel is its heated outdoor swimming pool, open from April to September—a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring Troyes.
Parking can be a bit tricky, but don’t worry! This Troyes hotel provides on-site parking for oversized vehicles for a surcharge, though spaces are limited. But here’s the cool part: they even have a Tesla charging station available for an extra charge. And if you can’t find a spot, there’s a secure, public car park just 200 meters away that’s open 24/7.
Now, let’s talk about food. The hotel’s restaurant, La Commanderie, serves up delicious regional cuisine prepared with local organic produce. However, the dinner menu is quite limited and comes with a hefty price tag. Given the hotel’s proximity to a plethora of restaurants, I’d recommend dining out.
Best Western Premier de La Poste & Spa
📍 Address: 35 Rue Emile Zola | ⭐ Rating: 8.6/10 | 💰 Price From: €105 per night
This hotel is in an exceptional position right in the centre of the old town. We loved the intimate style of this hotel, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the hotel is really exceptional
– Review by Maree from Australia (Read more reviews)
Best Western Premier de La Poste & Spa is a unique boutique hotel that oozes charm and character. Situated in the pedestrian zone of Troyes’s historic downtown, this former posting office is now a delightful retreat for travellers!
The hotel’s rooms are individually decorated, each showcasing its own personality. They come equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay, such as a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV with Canal+ satellite channels, a minibar, air conditioning, and free WiFi.
The hotel also offers a free Nuxe Spa, including a sauna, hammam, and sensory shower. For those seeking a little extra pampering, massages and treatments are available at an additional cost.
The buffet breakfast served each morning is simply divine. And the quality of the prosciutto? Exceptional!
Despite being dog-friendly, there’s no indoor space to have breakfast with your furry friend, which could be an issue in winter. But don’t worry. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance where you can grab a bite!
One of my favourite things about this hotel is its intimate style and the sense of history you get from its horse and carriage theme. It’s just a 5-minute walk from the stunning Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul Cathedral, making it an ideal base for exploring the city.
The hotel also offers a 24-hour reception, ensuring there’s always someone available to assist you. And if you’re driving, they provide private and secure parking on-site for an extra charge.
Mercure Hotel Troyes Centre
📍 Address: 11 rue des bas Trévois | ⭐ Rating: 8.5/10 | 💰 Price From: €124 per night
We have stayed here on return from skiing holidays several times, but since its renovation last year, the Mercure is outstanding. We stayed in a Junior Suite which was extremely spacious and well appointed with coffee machine, sofa, bathroom with bath and Nuxe toiletries. The buffet breakfast was varied with hot and cold options. We will always choose the Mercure when staying in Troyes. Highly recommend it.

Best Western Premier de La Poste & Spa is a delightful surprise tucked away in the heart of Troyes! Occupying a former factory, this hotel has been completely renovated to offer a chic and cosy decor that instantly feels like home!
The rooms are spacious and functional, equipped with modern private bathrooms, air conditioning, and satellite TV. You’ll have everything you need for a comfy stay, but it doesn’t stop there! If you’re looking for a bit more luxury, the Junior Suite is a dream come true. It’s extremely spacious and well-appointed with a coffee machine, sofa, and a bathroom complete with a bath and Nuxe toiletries.
One of the highlights of this hotel is its two terraces—perfect for sipping a glass of Champagne or a delicious cocktail.
Breakfast here is a treat. The buffet is filled with various choices, including very fresh fruit. While there’s no restaurant for evening meals, there’s a fantastic steak restaurant right next door, which is also dog-friendly. So, you won’t have to venture far for a tasty dinner!
And speaking of being dog-friendly, this place is a haven for our furry friends. Plus, it’s child-friendly too! So, whether you’re travelling with your family or your pet, Best Western Premier de La Poste & Spa has got you covered.
Another thing I love about this hotel is the friendly English-speaking staff. They’re always ready to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible!
Le Champ des Oiseaux & Spa Hotel Troyes
📍 Address: 20 Rue Linard Gonthier | ⭐ Rating: 8.6/10 | 💰 Price From: €237 per night
This is probably the nicest hotel in Troyes. Very friendly staff, generous breakfast, small private parking lot (reserve your spot on time!). We were there during colder weather and it was really nice that the hotel doesn’t skimp on heating.
– Review by Marc from Belgium (Read more reviews)
Nestled in the historic town of Troyes, just a leisurely walk from the majestic Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul Cathedral and the Modern Art Museum, Le Champ des Oiseaux & Spa is a charming blend of history and comfort.
Imagine this: carefully restored ancient houses that make up these two hotels, set in the original cobble streets outside the Cathedral walls. Each room is a cosy retreat with an ensuite bathroom, TV, and free WiFi. But it’s not just about the rooms—the staff here are simply delightful! And guess what? They love dogs as much as I do!
Now, picture yourself enjoying a range of simple, light dishes in the stunning garden or in the comfort of your own room. The on-site restaurant, which is open from Tuesday to Saturday upon prior reservation, offers a limited but oh-so-delicious menu!
The planted courtyard is a tranquil oasis where guests can sit back and unwind. And if you’re in the mood for some pampering, the spa and wellness centre, although a bit pricey, is a dream come true! There’s also a charming little outdoor swimming pool—it may be small, but it’s perfect for a refreshing dip!
One thing I absolutely love about this place is its eco-consciousness—they offer charging facilities for electric and hybrid cars on-site. How thoughtful is that?
But let’s keep it real: the breakfast and private parking are a tad pricey. Getting to the rooms can be a challenge due to the very steep, uneven stairs. And oh, those wooden stairs do creak! But hey, that’s part of the charm, right? If you’re a light sleeper like me, remember to pack some earplugs.
Despite these minor quirks, Le Champ des Oiseaux & Spa has won my heart! The gardens and courtyard are incredibly pretty, and the pool is an added bonus.
Hotel Saint Georges
📍 Address: 31 Rue du Palais de Justice | ⭐ Rating: 7.7/10 | 💰 Price From: €96 per night
The hotel is very old, quirky and we felt part of the history of this wonderful town. Located in a quiet street but only a short walk from the bustling centre and its bars and restaurants. Our room was massive and our two dogs were very comfortable too!
– Review by Jo from UK (Read more reviews)
Nestled in a tranquil street, Hotel Saint Georges offers you a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of the outside world.
As soon as you step into your unit, you’re greeted with a cosy kitchen equipped with everything you could possibly need—an oven, microwave, toaster, fridge, stovetop, coffee machine, and kettle!
Each unit comes fitted with a flat-screen TV and DVD player, perfect for those nights when all you want to do is curl up with a good movie. Some units even boast a seating area and/or a balcony, offering you a private slice of heaven where you can relax and unwind.
Every morning, the hotel serves up a delicious breakfast that’s definitely worth waking up for. Imagine this: local products delivered straight to your door in a beautiful basket.
The hotel also offers private parking, family rooms, and facilities for disabled guests. However, do note that there’s no lift—something to keep in mind if you’re travelling with babies or older people. I’ve also heard some guests mention that the parking can get a bit tight if there are several other cars and you have a larger vehicle.
Now, I must mention that as an apartment hotel, there’s no on-site restaurant. The shower room could use sprucing up, and due to the age of the building, the walls are quite thin. And while they do provide coffee and tea, I do wish they were a tad more generous. You only get one bag per person.
Maison M Troyes
📍 Address: 3 Quai La Fontaine | ⭐ Rating: 9.3/10 | 💰 Price From: €180 per nig
We had a great stay at Maison M and would thoroughly recommend it. Our room was large with a wonderful bathroom. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The owners Michelle & Bruno are extremely friendly and helpful. We would stay here again on our next visit to Troyes.
– Review by Karen from UK (Read more reviews)
Imagine waking up in a historic building in the heart of Troyes, with a garden outside your window and a river flowing peacefully nearby. Sounds dreamy, doesn’t it? Well, at Maison M Troyes, it’s a reality!
The hotel offers free WiFi—perfect for sharing those vacation snaps with friends back home—and free on-site parking. No more worrying about where to park your car!
The rooms are cosy and comfortable, each equipped with a desk, a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, a hair dryer, and even a flat-screen TV and air conditioning. Some rooms even come with a seating area where you can relax after a long day of sightseeing.
And here’s my favourite part: the coffee shop on-site. There’s nothing like sipping on a cup of freshly brewed coffee while taking in the view of the garden. And yes, all rooms come with a tea/coffee maker, too!
The rooms are set in an old grand house, but they’ve been tastefully modernized. It’s like stepping back in time, but with all the comforts of the 21st century!
Now, let me share a little secret: the 5:30 pm check-in time is rather strict, with the reception being closed until then. But don’t let that deter you! Just walk into town and have a glass of wine. Once you’re settled in, it’s pure bliss from there.
The breakfast at Maison M Troyes is absolutely first-class. And the location? Perfect! You’re just a 2-minute walk from the historic centre of Troyes and the cathedral.
But what really sets Maison M Troyes apart are the owners, Michelle & Bruno. They’re friendly and helpful, and they make you feel like you’re part of the family.
Hotel Relais Saint Jean Troyes
📍 Address: 51 Rue Paillot de Montabert | ⭐ Rating: 7.7/10 | 💰 Price From: €79 per night
This Hotel was lovely right in the middle of the centre. Rooms were excellent Breakfast was lovely and parking was great underground. Highly Recommend. Thank you for having us.
– Review by Tony from UK (Read more reviews)
Introducing the Hotel Relais Saint Jean Troyes, a 4-star treasure located smack dab in the historic centre of Troyes!
Picture this: a fitness centre tucked away in a 16th-century cellar, complete with a hot tub. Imagine easing your muscles after a long day of sightseeing in the warm, bubbling water.
Each room at the hotel is individually decorated, creating a unique ambience that makes you feel like you’re in your own little world.
But the luxury doesn’t stop there. The hotel boasts a private bar and a library—a perfect spot for those moments when you want to unwind with a good book or a refreshing drink. And if you’re feeling peckish, room service is available round the clock!
Now, here’s a little tip from me to you: the cheaper rooms can be a tad on the small side, so if you love your space, be sure to book a larger one!
I’ve heard some say the breakfast is delicious and a huge choice, while others felt it was a bit overpriced. But hey, you can’t please everyone, right?
Now, let’s address the elephant in the room: the internet can be a bit slow at times, and the parking spaces are quite narrow. But trust me, the location more than makes up for these minor inconveniences. You’re so near the restaurants you can practically smell the mouthwatering aromas wafting in from just around the corner!
One thing to note: the bar and restaurant are closed on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. And while the rooms could use a bit of modernization, they exude a certain charm that is hard to resist.
La Maison de Reina
📍 Address: 22 Rue de la Paix | ⭐ Rating: 9.2/10 | 💰 Price From: €95 per night
It was a great hotel for our overnight stay in Troyes . Comfortable beds and great shower . Bonus points having a decent kettle, two teabags , two coffee pouches , no milk though , so take your own .
– Review by Jonny from UK (Read more reviews)
I’m absolutely thrilled to introduce you to La Maison de Reina, a charming bed and breakfast nestled within a historic building.
The hotel offers air-conditioned rooms, complete with a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom with a power shower, and oh-so-comfy bed linen and towels. The rooms also come equipped with a kettle for that morning cuppa! Some rooms go the extra mile with a fully-equipped kitchenette featuring a fridge.
One of the things that stand out about La Maison de Reina is how it beautifully combines the past with the present. The rooms are huge and very stylish, much like the bathrooms.
Now, I must admit, the breakfast can be a tad sparse, and the WiFi isn’t the best. But hey, no place is perfect, right? And these minor quirks certainly don’t take away from the charm of La Maison de Reina.
Oh, and did I mention there’s a cat at the property? That’s right—a furry friend to keep you company during your stay!
B&B HOTEL Troyes Magasins d’usine
📍 Address: 1 Voie du Prince, Zone du Moutot, Lavau | ⭐ Rating: 8.2/10 | 💰 Price From: €67 per night
Used as a stop over to alps. Fantastic location, simple but very clean bedrooms, nice breakfast in morning secure car park.
– Review by David from UK
Nestled in a new commercial site development, B&B HOTEL Troyes Magasins d’usine is a sparkling clean, modern haven just off the toll road. It’s so easy to get to, and guess what? It’s just a five-minute stroll from the retail outlet shopping. Shop till you drop, anyone?
The rooms are air-conditioned, cosy, and complete with a desk for your convenience. And yes, each room even comes with a flat-screen TV and free toiletries. Did I mention they have family rooms and facilities for disabled guests?
Now, the cherry on top has to be the breakfast. Imagine waking up to a buffet or continental breakfast. Fresh, delectable, and served hot! For just €8.50, you’ll start your day on the right foot.
And when it’s time to unwind, you can relax in the shared lounge or the terrace. Or better yet, take a stroll in the garden. The hotel even offers free electric car charging spots and secure parking at night with gate code access.
While it doesn’t have tea or coffee in the room, it’s got an amazing steakhouse right next door. You can also enjoy the automated check-in facility, making your arrival smooth and hassle-free.
Sure, the accommodation might be basic, but it’s ideal for a stopover to or from the Alps or the South of France. And it’s got some fantastic common areas where you can eat, play games, watch TV – whatever floats your boat!
