The trains depart 42 minutes past the hour from Paris Gare de l’Est, so it’s easy to plan your day around your departure time. And guess what? Prices start from just €10 per person! What a bargain, right?
But the perks don’t stop there. The train ride is quite short, only taking 1 hour and 27 minutes to whisk you from the hustle and bustle of Paris to the charming medieval streets of Troyes.
As you travel, you’ll be treated to beautiful, uninterrupted views of the French countryside. Trust me, it’s a sight for sore eyes.

As Disneyland is conveniently located in the East of Paris, it’s a relatively quick drive from Troyes. Expect to be on the road for about 1 hour and 55 minutes. But remember, there are toll roads along the way, so keep some change handy!
If you ask me, I would recommend driving. It is just a lot quicker and more convenient.

Do you want to travel to Charles de Gaulle Airport from Troyes? If you’re up for a drive, it’s just over 2 hours via the A5.
However, if you prefer to sit back and enjoy the scenery, public transport is your friend. First, hop on the train to Gare de l’Est. Once you reach there, you have a short walk to Gare du Nord, just down the road. From there, you catch the RER B straight to the airport.
Are there boats between Paris and Troyes?
While Troyes and Paris are both beautiful cities on the Seine, unfortunately, no boats are available for travel. Though some river cruises head East from Paris, they do not stop in Troyes as the Seine is not really fit for river cruises once it gets to Troyes.
I understand that most river cruises on the Seine that leave from Paris offer day trips to Troyes, but these are often by coach.
If you want to take a river cruise on the Seine, you will probably have more luck looking for a cruise heading to Normandy.
