If you’re in the area, The Kings Arms is a must-visit; the food is excellent and, as you’d expect, is prepared with the abundant ingredients available in this part of the world. Tongue and Cheek (Braised Ox Cheek, panko breaded ox tongue, Dijon mustard mash, red cabbage, red wine gravy), Herb and Smoked Bacon Crusted Hake Fillet with braised leeks, lobster sauce, and pommes maxim, and Squash, leek, and celeriac terrine with roasted squash puree, toasted seeds, marinated butter beans, and watercress, are among the main courses on the dinner menu.
