Travelling to Colorado on a ski holiday?

  • Looking for a transfer to your ski resort? Try Ski-Lifts. It is one of the most trusted booking sites for ski transfers.
  • If you want to take public transport, a ski train or fly to your resort, I would recommend using OMIO. We use it ourselves and it is easy, cheap, and hassle-free.
  • I would recommend looking for accommodation on either booking.com or on VRBO. I prefer VRBO over Airbnb as the same condo’s are cheaper on VRBO than on Airbnb!
  • Don’t forget to get travel insurance! You can get some here.
If you want to drive to your ski resort with a rental car, you can book one here.
  • Looking for ski rentals? You can get fitted in your condo or hotel room when booking through Viator!

Winter Park Ski School and Lessons

Whether you’re a newbie on the slopes or looking to fine-tune your skills, the Winter Park Ski School has got your back. This winter park Colorado ski resort offers a variety of ski lessons tailored to all ages and skill levels.

Choose from group classes or splurge on a private session to take your skiing to new heights. With top-notch instructors and personalized attention, you’ll soon be schussing down the slopes with the best of ’em.

Personal experiences: When I first went to Winter Park, it was my very first time skiing. My husband’s parents paid for 5 days of lessons and within 2 days I was pretty confident on the slopes. The fact that Winter Park is well-known for being a family friendly ski resort means that the lessons are catered to both adult and young learners. I was put into a group with adult learners and absolutely loved the great support I received from the instructors. Sure I am still not perfect, but I feel a lot more confident on the slopes and I am very happy going down Jack Kendrick – even though it frightened me at first!
