Dusit Thani Dubai Hotel

📍 Address: Sheikh Zayed Rd – Trade Centre – DIFC | ⭐ Rating: 8.3/10 | 💰 Price From: $116 per night.

I loved every aspect of the hotel. The staff was excellent! The service was beyond my expectation and the upgrade to a suite was out of the world! Rahul at the front desk was amazing and so was Param at the breakfast. Extremely polite and accommodating.

View from a room in Dusit Thani with the Burj Khalifa in the back

Dusit Thani is an iconic hotel on the Sheikh Zayed Road. It is very well known for its amazing views of the Burj Khalifa. Do note: if you want a room with views of the Burj Khalifa you will need to select one while booking.

The hotel was finished in 2001 and is one of the older buildings in the area. I would say that even though parts of the hotel were updated in 2014, parts of it still look a bit tired such as some of the furniture and carpets in the older rooms.

The hotel has no less than 6 bars and restaurants including a world street food restaurant, a rooftop lounge and Dubai’s first non-alcoholic bar.

Most rooms also include breakfast. I would say it is a good idea to head to breakfast quite early as there isn’t a lot of room in the breakfast room so it can get pretty busy. From the breakfast room you will have amazing panoramic views onto the city which is great.

Address Downtown

📍 Address: Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Blvd | ⭐ Rating: 8.8/10 | 💰 Price From: $329 per night.

Location, location, location. If you want to be downtown this is the place to be! Hotel has been nicely refurbisched after the fire several years ago and looks great. The pool are is unexpectedly spacious given the hotel’s location.

When I lived in Dubai The Address Brand was always synonymous with luxury. That is also why I am more than happy to include the Address Downtown in this list of the best hotels with Burj Khalifa Views.

Some of the rooms at The Address Downtown have balconies which is amazing. Just like with some of the other hotels in this list you will need to select a room with Burj Khalifa view if you want one. This will be marked as a Club Burj Khalifa View Room. Some of the rooms also have lounge access which is something I always enjoy.

The Address Downtown is honestly pretty expensive. I am not sure if it is great value for money, but on the other hand – it is one of the closest hotels to the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall which is very handy.

The hotel has 5 restaurants, a spa, an outdoor swimming pool and an airport shuttle. Like I mentioned before, you can also easily walk to Dubai Mall where there are so many more restaurants to choose from!

Address Dubai Mall

📍 Address: Al Ohood Street – Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Blvd | ⭐ Rating: 9.0/10 | 💰 Price From: $351 per night.

Great location and exceptionally friendly personnel. Zinab was wonderful, helping us get a great upgrade to a Royal Suite with a stunning view on the Burj and Fountains. assisting the family with all needs, during our stay! We had a life-time experience, including a first view on the year-end fireworks on the Burj.

Another great hotel by the Address group is The Address Dubai Mall. Although this hotel is a bit further from the Burj Khalifa than the Address Downtown, it is probably my favourite one because it has such easy access to Dubai Mall.

The Address Hotel Dubai Mall has no less than 3 pools, 4 restaurants, a spa and wellness centre and even a play room for kids. Sadly the playroom is not amazing.

The views from the rooms at The Address Hotel Dubai Mall are just breathtaking. If you would like to have a room with Burj view you will need to specifically book this. I would also recommend booking a room with a balcony if you are travelling in winter or during the cooler months just so you can sit outside with a cup of tea or coffee.

In case you are interested you can also book access to the club lounge. Here you can get refreshments and food throughout the day and from what I have read the food is amazing.

Sadly the breakfast service can be a bit slow. They don’t always have a lot of staff present for breakfast service – especially during the weekends, which is something that could be improved.

Rove Downtown

📍 Address: 312 Al Mustaqbal St – Za’abeel  | ⭐ Rating: 9.2/10 | 💰 Price From: $86 per night.

Such a great location within walking distance of the malls and the Burj. Shuttle bus to beach was excellent. Breakfast was good and the pool area sunny and kept very clean.
– Review by Mitchell from the United Kingdom

If today I had to book a room with Burj Khalifa view without completely breaking the bank, hands down I would be looking at the Rove Downtown.

This trendy hotel is just over the road of the Dubai Mall and is walking distance of the Burj Khalifa. There is even a little shuttle bus that will get you to and from some of the most famous places in the city.

Another feather in the cap of Rove Downtown is that it has an in-house TGI Fridays. This is where you will be having your breakfast buffet. Aparantly the french toast is to die for!

Now, if you want a room with Burj Khalifa view, you will need to specifically select this when booking your stay. The rooms can be on the smaller side, but that was to expected since you won’t have to sell your kidney to stay here for one night. If you book well in advance, this place can be amazing value for money.

As for the facilities, there is a 24/7 gym (albeit quite small), a 24/7 convenience store, and an amazing pool with great views of the world’s tallest tower.

The Heritage Hotel, Autograph Collection

📍 Address: Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashed Boulevard The Old Town  | ⭐ Rating: 9.1/10 | 💰 Price From: $130 per night.

Such a great location within walking distance of the malls and the Burj. Shuttle bus to beach was excellent. Breakfast was good and the pool area sunny and kept very clean.

The Heritage Hotel is another hotel to consider if your budget doesn’t span to the moon and back. It has beautiful Burj views and an amazing pool with little palm trees and lots of sun loungers.

I also love the courtyard at the Heritage hotel. It is designed in an Arabic style. However, it isn’t open early enough to grab a coffee in the morning whith is a bit sad.

There are lots of great facilities in the hotel such as the gym and the pool. The gym does need a bit of a modernisation but in the end, it is fine to just do your regime for the few days you are staying in Dubai.

There are three restaurants including the cafe restaurant in the courtyard. This means there will always be something to eat or snack on.

Now, the rooms can be a bit tired. Some of the rooms have been updated while others still look pretty old-fashioned and could do with new furniture and carpets. When you get an old room, do feel free to ask for a better room if available. One of the drawbacks of the rooms however is the fact that some of the rooms do not have a door between the room and the bathroom. Not ideal when travelling with friends!

Vida Downtown Residences

📍 Address: Emaar Blvd – Downtown Dubai  | ⭐ Rating: 8.6/10 | 💰 Price From: $193 per night.

The staff made me give this property a bonus point and made it a 9 out of 10. The Staff were very kind to the kids and always welcoming. The room size is very convenient and comfy with the number of family members we had. Definitely coming back and will be my 1st choice.

As someone who often travels with a baby, I really understand that getting a serviced apartment in a hotel can be a life saver. In fact, when travelling with family, I think I will always book an apartment somewhere – preferably in a hotel.

That is where Vida Downtown comes in. This luxury hotel in the centre of Dubai offers modern and clean apartments. You can book anything from a one bedroom apartment with city view to a three bedroom with Burj View.

Now, when it comes to amenities, the Vida Downtown has an outdoor pool and a great fitness centre. The parking is quite lacking sadly. There isn’t a lot of parking space available and there is also no valet service.

The hotel does not serve breakfast and does not have a restaurant. This means you will need to head to Dubai mall or one of the many other restaurants in the area. You could of course also just order to your apartment via Careem or Talabat.

If you would like to have a room with a Burj Khalifa View you will need to select this room when booking. They are a bit more expensive but if you want to keep costs low you can always go for a room with partial Burj view, even though the view from the balcony onto the Burj Khalifa is amazing.

The Palace Downtown

📍 Address: Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Blvd – Downtown Dubai  | ⭐ Rating: 9/10 | 💰 Price From: $292 per night.

Ideal location, very close to Dubai mall and Burj Khalifa, beautiful views. The hotel is very beautiful too, beautiful architecture and beautiful decoration. Nice restaurants. Breakfast ok.
Review from Khadidja from Japan

If you want to be really near the action, I would recommend staying at the Palace Downtown. This luxury hotel is literally steps away from the Burj Khalifa and has some of the most amazing (crowd free!) views of the tower. I have actually had an eye-wateringly expensive Coca Cola by the pool here.

The hotel is easily accessible from Dubai Mall as it’s just a short walk over that famous little bridge. Some of the rooms have views of the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain. Now, if you want a Burj View you will need to book a fountain view room – some of the views of the Burj views might be partial.

The rooms are good and comfortable although some of them might be a bit on the old side – especially the carpet and the furniture. There also aren’t a whole lot of sockets but they do have USB outlets which is always a good thing in my books.

The pool is a dream come true. I have been here once after a brunch and it was great because you can swim with the most amazing view on the Burj Khalifa. On the other hand, I can imagine that the fact that they allow visitors (at the time it was people who paid for the brunch) to use the pool, might annoy hotel guests.

If you want to book this luxury hotel near the Burj Khalifa, I would really recommend booking way ahead. This is a pricey hotel and booking ahead might mean you snag a little deal.

Tip: They also do an amazing afternoon tea brunch. The brunch is non-alcholic but they offer an afternoon tea buffet with the most amazing food. It was one of my favourite brunches in Dubai!

Radisson Blu Dubai Waterfront

📍 Address: Marasi Dr – Business Bay  | ⭐ Rating: 8.2/10 | 💰 Price From: $93 per night.

The staff, location and hotel facilities were all excellent. The food in the restaurants was delicious, and there was a great selection of items by the pool. They also made a huge fuss of our little boy who had just had a birthday and was visiting Dubai for the first time. The creek in Business Bay is also a great area for walks, good restaurants and easy access to downtown Dubai, the Mall and Burj Khalifa. For the price, we couldn’t have asked for better.
Review by Joe from UAE

The Radisson Blu Hotel in Dubai Business Bay is a nice place to stay if your budget doesn’t stretch too far, but you are still looking for a room with a view of Burj Khalifa. The hotel has an amazing outdoor pool that’s great for cooling off in Dubai’s hot weather. The hotel also has two restaurants, including a bar by the pool, which is always great.

Those who are heading down by car will be happy to hear that there is free parking. That’s really convenient in this busy area because we always found it hard to park our car when heading to some of the restaurants near this hotel.

The breakfast at the Radisson Blu is also really good. You can get a big English or Irish breakfast. They have a breakfast buffet, so you can basically choose whatever you want.

The famous Dubai Mall is close to the hotel. You can either take one of their shuttle buses to get to the mall or, if you are staying in winter, you can also walk as it’s really not that far.

I do have to say that the regular rooms are kind of small. But you can upgrade to a room with a balcony in the winter because the temperature is amazing for sitting outside. Especially if you book a room with views of the Burj Khalifa, the balcony will come in handy.

Truth be told, not all the rooms look as modern as the ones in the pictures on the website. This actually often happens in Dubai, and they are kind of banking on you not complaining. If you don’t like the room you are given and want a new one, just head down to the lobby and complain. 99% of the time, they are very happy to provide you with a better room, or they will upgrade you.

Address Sky View

📍 Address: Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashed Boulevard Downtown Dubai  | ⭐ Rating: 9.0/10 | 💰 Price From: $289 per night.

WOW! the hotel is luxurious and the room was perfect. Clean, spacious, amazing view, comfortable and lux. The staff were extremely accomodating and the restaurants available had delicious food. The pool is one of the best parts, with a great view of burj khalifa it is extremely IG worthy. You can also access dubai mall from the lifts in the hotel which is super convenient. i will have to stay here again.
Review by Hiba from Australia

If you are looking for absolute luxury with a view of the Burj Khalifa, then you need to have a look at Address Sky View. This hotel is on my bucket list because of its amazing swimming pool on the 54th floor! The infinity pool is suspended in midair and offers some of the most dramatic views of the Burj Khalifa. Just wow!

Sure, the hotel is pretty (very) expensive, but it is more than worth it. The rooms are big (which is pretty rare in Dubai) and some even have balconies from which you will have an amazing view of the Burj Khalifa. Some of the guests also have access to a lounge with some complimentary food and drinks, which might be a plus for you.

The hotel is also quite close to the Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. Because it is so near, you can easily walk in winter. In summer, you will need to call a taxi or get a Careem or Uber. As this is a very luxurious hotel, there aren’t any taxis waiting at the hotel, so be sure to ask the front desk to call you a taxi.

With this hotel as well, it is important to select a room with a Burj Khalifa view when booking your room. That’s the best way to make sure you have those once-in-a-lifetime views!

Taj Dubai

📍 Address: Burj Khalifa St – Business Bay  | ⭐ Rating: 8.9/10 | 💰 Price From: $124 per night.

We got upgraded at check in (thank you). The hotel is nice, location is great. Breakfast is good (it is a bit crowded sometimes, but it is fine). Staff is great. The room design is just beautiful, the view was great to the Burj Khalifa.
Review by Adam from the Netherlands

Last but not least I would like to recommend staying in Taj Dubai if you want to stay near Burj Khalifa or if you are looking for a hotel with Burj Khalifa views. This fancy hotel offers a very comfortable stay and no less than 2 pools and 5 restaurants.

Speaking of the restaurants, I loved dining at Miss Tess, they had amazing Thai dishes and there were dancers with Katana’s dancing around our table. Treehouse has great cocktails and if you are into Indian food you should check out Bombay Brasserie.

Another plus about the Taj Dubai is that they have a free shuttle to the Dubai Mall which is great because the Dubai Mall is also connected to the metro.

Other amenities at the hotel include a great spa and wellness centre and some people will have access to the club lounge where they can unwind with some drinks and food.

The rooms are great and pretty nice. What I love is that they come with Molton Brown products which is super luxurious. Do make sure to select a Burj Khalifa room if you want a view of the Burj Khalifa so you are sure to get a room with an amazing view.

If you are travelling with kids you will be happy to know that this hotel is actually very kid friendly. They give kids cupcakes and provide them with a colouring bag.

I would say that the main downside at the Taj Dubai is that the internet connections are limited to four devices per room. When travelling with family this means you might not be able to use all your devices (for instance checking your work emaul on your laptop). It’s honestly pretty old-fashioned and I hope they do away with this pretty soon.
