Elk Creek Camping Grand Lake is located about 13 miles south of Grand Lake on Highway 34. The campground has a total of 40 sites. 10 of which are semi-serviced, with water and electrical hookups. There are 25 dry camping sites without hookups, and 5 are full-service sites that provide water, electrical, and sewer hookups. This is the only Grand Lake camping ground around that is open year-round.

Sunset Point Campground is located in the scenic, unspoiled Rocky Mountain National Park on the southern shore of Lake Granby, close to Grand Lake. Sunset Point offers tent camping and RV camping. It is one of the few campgrounds in the park with drinking water, and it is near the well-known and family-friendly Gold Medal Beach. The campground has two picnic shelters, one of which has an additional 5 tables. Other amenities include fire pits, potable water, firewood, electricity, and wastewater stations.
