Do It Yourself Beard Oil

In winter, men with beards often suffer from itchy and peeling skin under their beards. Beards are often not really taken care of and apart from some trimming there is not much going on. Time to change that! Make this nurturing beard oil for your friend, father or yourself (if you have a beard) and thus enjoy a soft and well-cared-for beard. What you need:
  • A glass bottle with pipette or with a good closure
  • Castor oil
  • Apricot kernel oil, argan oil and/or almond oil
  • Jojoba oil
Castor oil (or Wonder oil) is known for its hair growth stimulating properties. Perfect for the beard! Apricot kernel oil is very nourishing, just like argan oil and almond oil. Jojoba oil is an oil that is very similar to the sebum of your skin, making this oil suitable for all skin types. Very soft and caring! This beard oil will thus reduce itching, make the hair soft and shiny and care for the skin. diy-beard-oil- The basis of this recipe is very simple and you can vary in how much you want. I fill half of the bottle with castor oil and then add equal parts or apricot kernel, argan and jojoba oil. This makes for a fairly thick oil, but one that is quickly absorbed by the skin and very nourishing. Would you like a lighter oil, then you can base grape seed and supplement it with jojoba and castor. My friend loves an odorless oil the most, but of course you can also get started with essential oil. Add about 10 drops to your beard oil. Fine smells are sandalwood, pine and cedar. Chamomile is fine for men with sensitive skin and lavender can help with oily skin with impurities. Pour the beard oil into a nice glass bottle and shake well. Make a label for it and you immediately have a nice gift for Christmas!
