5 Hacks to hide greasy hair

Greasy hair... I hate it! I have had greasy hair ever since I was in middle school and I still have to wash my hair every day - every two days when I am lucky. I have tried the - greastox, where you do not wash your hair for a week in order to teach your scalp not to produce so much grease, I have tried special shampoos, I have tried not using any shampoo... but still: it seems as if my hair and my scalp have a mind of their own when it comes to greasing it up, up there. So here are 5 easy hacks I use for when I am too lazy to wash my hair in the morning.

Dry Shampoo

Dry Shampoo is literally my saviour - and my boyfriend uses it constantly as well. I had never ever used dry shampoo until a sample dropped on my doorstep in the form of a Birch Box. I started using it instantly, and within a week, the sample was gone, and I had already purchased a full-size spray can. I myself use Batiste - I especially love the Cherry one, but I have also heard AMAZING things about dry shampoo from Bed Head and Aussie

2. Put on a hat!

It doesn't matter if it is summer or winter, a hat is always stylish. Put on your best droopy hat and hide those greasy locks!

3. Messy Knot

So, I have to admit: I have always been quite jealous of girls with curls. My hair is incredibly straight, and no matter what I do, it will never ever curl. My friend - who has AMAZING curls btw, can just take her hair and put it up in one messy knot. You couldn't even tell her hair was greasy!

4. Topknot

Another thing she does - but I look absolutely awful with it, is put her hair up in a topknot. This just completely hides her greasy hair and leaves me wishing for thicker and more curly locks!

5. A scarf

Something I love doing in summer is adding a scarf. I tie it around my head and it looks absolutely amazing, especially when I am going for a bit of a boohoo look. It perfectly conceals my greasy roots and I look fabulous for the day!
